Abstract
Most of the ASEAN member countries have established national programs on the conservation and enhancement of sea turtles. However, information on research, conservation and enhancement of these animals in the region is rather fragmented. This paper present the turtle behavior on various sound exposures to determine the hearing threshold. Hearing threshold was measured with ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response. ABR is generated by the auditory brainstem in response to auditory stimulation. The auditory stimulation used in this research was click stimuli. The results will be used to design and develop Turtle Excluder Device. Type of sea turtle is Green Turtle (Chelonia Midas). The measurement was taken at TUMEC (Turtle and Marine Ecosystems Centre) Terengganu Malaysia.
