Abstract
The purpose of this research is to educate the mathematical based student about some basic knowledge of electromagnetic and antenna design, and design an education MATLAB code for radiation and propagation of rectangular patch antenna. The rectangular patch antenna is design by using transmission line model with assistant of MATLAB code and the findings compared with AWR software. In electromagnetism, the measurement of how much resistance is encountered when forming an electric field in a medium is known as permittivity. Consequently, one of the objectives of this project is to modify frequency dependent of effective permittivity. Additionally, inset feed is implanted onto the patch of antenna to reduce the noise, thus increase the efficiency of findings. The entire dimension of patch antenna is discussed and determined after several experiments and tested by AWR software.
