A survey was conducted on UTM’s academic staff which is to focus on a single office room, i.e. lecturers’ rooms; and discusses on the level of physical satisfaction of lecturers towards ambient features (i.e. temperature and ventilation, cleanliness and sanitation, lighting, noise and privacy) as well as design related factors (i.e. furniture, equipment and computer station design). Seven faculties were chosen randomly with 96 response rate. Raw data were processed and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software in order to obtain the accurate result. Result shows that average 50% lecturers in UTM were satisfied with their physical environment in their room. Nevertheless, still it has several things need to be improved to make sure that every lecturers feel very satisfy with the physical facilities provided.
