Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the element of curriculum management among teachers at secondary school in Johor Bahru. There are five objectives constructed for this study which are to determine the level of implementation of curriculum planning among secondary school cluster teachers, determine the level of implementation of curriculum organizing among secondary school cluster teachers, determine the different level of implementation of the curriculum planning in terms of the experience, to determine the different level of implementation of the curriculum organizing in terms of the experience, and to identify the obstacles encountered in the implementation of the school curriculum. This study reviews the use of quantitative methods in which the data is obtained entirely through questionnaire form. A total of 79 respondents participated in this study are the teachers which are not from the administrators. All data were analyzed using the software Statistical Package For Social Science Version 16.0 . Data were analyzed descriptively to see the percentage and the mean level of variables and inference involving one way ANOVA test . The findings mean analysis showed curriculum planning and management of the curriculum is at a high level with a mean value are respectively 4:13 and 4:10 . ANOVA showed no significant differences for the planning and organizing based on the teaching experiences with significant value , respectively p = 0.25, and p = 0:17 . Finally, the key barriers identified in the implementation of the curriculum is teacher workload factor , the factor of the administration, teachers, facility factors and student factors . At the end of the writing as well, researchers have put forward some suggestions for future research and further study as a reference
