Abstract
Individual land acquired by the government because they do not have enough land in the area that planned for development. Furthermore land acquisition also needed to avoid transaction problems that taking a long time if play by the existing rules. Therefore land acquisition cannot be avoided and government has to take the land to ensure developments that have been planned workable. Land acquisition also should be done by the rules that were prescribed in Land Acquisition Act 1960. This is because if there are abuses of power, it will cause land acquisition void and landlord could be challenging applicant agency in court. The problems will also cause negative impact to development that want to be implemented. Land acquisition must do in period of time that was prescribed. This is because delay will cause the other development phase getting problems. Land consultant was one of the alternatives that can be applied by government to help them to accelerate land acquisition process that was carried out. When land acquisition was able done according to prescribed period, so development planned also feasible. This will ensure the government's wish to prioritize people will participate achieved
