During the regime of SA, the term latency in the PRC was crucial in DGPS due to fast variation of GPS errors. According to this substance, the application of RRC in DGPS corrections was useful to reduce latency error. After the removal of SA, the variation of PRC became quite slow and the value of RRC should be smaller. Thus, an issue has been raised for the necessity of RRC in DGPS corrections. This paper will be discussing the requirement of RRC for a research-based of local DGPS known as ISKANDARnet. The variation of PRC will be determined by using this research infrastructure within ISKANDAR region. Experimental tests on the DGPS simulation have been conducted to evaluate user differentially corrected position with or without RRC. Results of this paper are expected to provide understanding of temporal GPS errors and support the development of ISKANDARnet DGPS services.
