The new integrated system of broadband powerline communication (PLC) system with visible free space optic system utilizing white LEDs is proposed. In this system in order to achieve the higher data rates, the broadband (1MHz up to 30 MHz) powerline channel was chosen and by considering all types of noises and multipath effects in the hostile PLC medium the real scenario was simulated. To overcome these impairments the discrete multi-tone (DMT) modulation scheme using Gray coded 16-QAM was applied, hence to increase the low bandwidth of white LED, blue-filtering filter was used at the receiver.
