Abstract

Cardiac auscultation remains the first diagnostic tool used to detect abnormalities in the mechanical activity of the heart [3]. The accuracy of this method is depending totally on the experience of the person. Thus, a standardized automated system has to be developed in order to assist them in analyzing, classifying and detecting valvular heart disease.
