Abstract
Research on virtual reality game needs a lot of improvement especially on how to immerse user and provide user with attractive interaction. The interactivity and immersiveness are considered as main goal that need to be achieved in virtual reality game (VRG), especially when it is used for educational purpose, virtual training, virtual institution and etc (Bogdanovych 2007; Garcia-Rojas et al. 2006; Hutchison 2007; Bork 1991; Peter 2006). Researchers have tried to measure the human response to haptic devices. This chapter focuses on finding an opportunity for haptic to be used on virtual humans (avatar) in order to increase their capability of showing an emotion expression. In detail, haptic has the capability to create a bilateral exchange and simulate physical contact between user and virtual environment. In the other words, haptic has the potential to be combined with visual, audio, or even with human behaviour inside of virtual environment.
