Pengharapan pelatih pusat serenti terhadap latihan vokasional di Pusat Serenti Tampoi, Johor.

Abstract

The purpose of having this research is to identify the hope of trainees from rehabilition center after they have undergone vocational training at Pusat Serenti Tampoi, Johor. The elements that are going to be studied here include the reforming of personality, the acceptance of employment, aspiring that they can run their own business as well as by hoping that they can improve their skills which they already have . There are 48 trainess out of overall trainess have been chosen as the samples in this research. The instrument which is used in this research including questionnaire which is constructed by the researcher. It consists 30 items which is measured by using YES/NO scale and it is analysed by the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS 12.0) software. The outcomes of the research represent certain accurence of the desires in themselves once they have undergone vocational training at Pusat serenti Tampoi, Johor. The expectation of reforming personality has been identified as the respondent main goal of the training (94.8%), followed by the hope to run their own business (91.9%), desire to improve their skills which they already have (89.0%), and lastly the hope to be accepted by the employers (85.4%). The result shows that there are difference types of hope among the ages accordingly.
