Abstract
Most of the games today are developed in three dimensional environments. The main idea of this paper is to give a basic programming experience and to motivate the beginner to the virtual walkthrough programming on the development of simple three dimensional games using cross platform graphics library OpenGL (Pallister 2005). 3D Maze can be used as a starter for the development any walkthrough application and games. First person view in games and virtual walkthrough application permit the viewer to move around the 3D world as they walk in the real world (Shreiner 2003). We will discuss some related theory and OpenGL function that we use in the development of our real-time 3D Maze
