Analysis of current technology advancement effects with Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0)

Abstract

Artificial Intelligent (AI) is one of the components of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0), as current technological advancement. Whether the work or production is from a small business to a big company, almost all company or enterprises apply AI and robotics to replace or reduce human repetitive work. It might look good in developing the countries as the fastest way in production. However, it also brought an impact on the country that is not fully ready for this technological change. This paper aims to discuss and determine the related policies in ICT that can be applied in plotting the technology in industries without being worried about technological unemployment. Among the policies was a Social Contract Policy that was based on morality and an education policy that enlightened the teenager about the advancement of jobs in technological change. The application of technological advancement while not neglecting the people unemployed is explored and described.
