Abstract

People around the world are now aware about the environment, in 2020 many have witnessed that creatures are taking over the land of human. The lockdown has made human switch places with the creature, where animals are freely to roaming around while human are staying inside to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The silver lining is that the mother nature is recovering from the decades of pollution. Despite that, the current healthy environment should be maintained in the horizon as business are making their come back from the quarantine period. This research enables us to understand that consumer knowledge on the green product is great in giving positive influence toward environmental awareness. 100 respondents were able to give feedback in this study using snowball sampling technique, and result show that that consumer knowledge on green product have significant relationship towards environmental awareness (r=0.580, p<0.05). The analysis involve in this study were Spearman Rho and simple linear regression. This shows that consumer knowledge is very important towards environmental awareness and if public are all aware about knowledge on the green product it may lead to a better green world. This research suggests that increasing public knowledge on green product would be the best to insert as one of the indicators for Environmental Performance Index (EPI).
