Abstract
Today, phishing attempts are a major problem and a significant cyber risk. Phishing is one of the most common ways attackers try to steal money on the Internet. Phishing attacks can cause victims to lose a lot, like sensitive information, their identities, businesses, and government secrets. Attackers use various creative and unique methods to launch increasingly sophisticated phishing attacks. Therefore, a detailed analysis of old and new phishing methods is required. This paper reviews the techniques used in phishing assaults. This essay intends to stimulate professional discussion on phishing assaults, public awareness of phishing tactics, and education about these attacks.
