Abstract

Electrical engineering students must take an electromagnetic field theory (EMT) course. However, both educators and students are having difficulty either teaching or learning EMT. Therefore, concept map has been implemented as a formative assessment to enhance learning experience. Initially, the implementation has been done randomly without any proper design. Therefore, in this paper proposed intervention for future work will be discussed. Based on initial implementation, students who try to use this method show improvement in their understanding.
