Abstract

Logical reversibility stands for one-to-one mapping and hence one can trace the inputs by looking at the outputs. This is a significant paradigm these days since it not only helps to preserve data but also minimizes heat dissipation in quantum technology, quantum dot cellular automata, nanotechnology, etc. This paper explores the electro-optic Mach Zehnder Interferometer based implementation of Peres Gate (PG) with the minimum number of MZIs used in it. The design was explored in OptiBPM tool, whereas its mathematical power equation is verified in MATLAB. The system level validation is carried out in order to ensure the proper functioning of the PG as a whole.
