Abstract
Over the past few years, academics in the field of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) have been discussing the study of User Experience (UX). As a subfield of human-computer interaction (HCI) that focuses on the interaction between products and users, user experience (UX) has become highly significant in the era of learning management systems (LMS). In order to evaluate the UX design, the appropriate or suitable variable must be identified. A learning management system, like any other system, must be user-friendly and straightforward to operate. It is important to evaluate LMS from the prospect of user experience. User experience (UX) design and evaluation are critical to the success of many technical products since subjective views and emotions can differ dramatically from usability-oriented objective facts. The User Experience (UX) is presently regarded as a critical aspect in determining the overall quality of a product or service. Although its significance, only a few studies have examined the user experience (UX) of learning management systems (LMSs). In the context of e-learning, user experience is critical since it can affect learners' attitudes toward using the learning management system (LMS). It is the goal of this study to identify the most important user experience variables as well as evaluation concerns and user experience within the LMS domain, with a particular emphasis on educational contexts. In order to achieve these objectives, a review of the literature was carried out, which included several papers published between 2015 and 2021, among others. The discussion concentrated on the present issues facing the discipline, as well as research gaps and potential in the field.
